Each year we celebrate our employees during Awards week. The agency honors several staff and volunteers with the Volunteer of the Year, Leader of the Year, Bess MacCulloch, Dr. Elmore Shoudy, and Kindness awards, and this year the Lifetime Award.
The 2023 winners are…
Volunteer of the Year – Given to an active volunteer who has gone above and beyond to not only patients but the staff and agency. Congratulations, Holly DeChane.
Leader of the Year – Given to an individual that demonstrates compassion, outstanding leadership, and holds themselves and others accountable, while functioning with the utmost humility. Congratulations, Jennifer Fletcher, RN, BSN.
Bess MacCulloch Award – Given to a staff member in the Health Services, Home Health, or Private Duty Home Care divisions and exemplifies the mission of the agency as well as providing excellent care to clients in addition to their community. Congratulations, Lori Koutny, RN.
Dr. Elmore Shoudy Award – Given to an employee in the Hospice division who provides extraordinary care to patients and families dealing with terminal illness. Congratulations, Donna Halpin, RN.
Kindness Award – Given to an employee for their dedication to other team members, upholding the agency’s charter exhibited by patterns of kindness through friendliness, generosity, consideration, and above all – integrity. Congratulations, Carrie Barnes.
Lifetime Award – This award is not given out annually, only as necessary to honor a long-standing employee or volunteer for their extreme care for others and the agency. It is given to someone who exhibits a pattern of service that goes above and beyond. Congratulations, Mike Dobson.
