VNA & Blue Water Hospice leadership honors staff & volunteers quarterly through the ‘Shining Star’ program, recognizing the extras they do for each other, their patients, and the community.

Mary is a volunteer at the Blue Water Hospice Home. She started with the agency in October 2023.

Heidi recognized Mary as a Shining Star! 

“Mary began her volunteer journey with us in October as a greeter at the Blue Water Hospice Home every other Monday. She enjoys greeting our visitors and helping with other tasks as needed. She brings a smile and positive vibe on her Monday shift. Weekly we need someone to assemble patient welcome packets and Mary stepped up and took on the task. She is doing a wonderful job.”
