Doris Blaine is a patient at the Blue Water Hospice Home. Mrs. Blaine was living alone when she fell and could no longer stay in her home. She is staying at the Blue Water Hospice Home while she recovers. One day she was chatting with some staff about her favorite meal and how long it has been since she’s enjoyed a prime rib dinner. Of course, our caring staff took it upon themselves to see to it that Mrs. Blaine received her favorite meal!
Chef Shell’s Catering heard about the quest and were determined to be a part of it. Mark Wrubel offered his services…and the food…free of charge! Mark prepared a scrumptious prime rib dinner and all of the fixings cooked to perfection for Mrs. Blaine. In addition, he set the mood with a precious rose and candlelight while Chaplain Bob Wynkoop played music and sang.
Needless to say, Mrs. Blaine was surprised and very pleased with her dinner. Thank you Bob Wynkoop for your many talents to bring this all together and play music. Thank you Chef Shell’s Catering for providing this wonderful dinner and memory for all involved.
