When veterans come under our care, we like to honor them. They are very special individuals who agreed to serve our country and possibly give the ultimate sacrifice. We are grateful to them.
Recently we honored US Army Veteran Bill Pope with a Quilt of Valor. Bill was actually on a ship headed to Japan as the atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima on August 6, 1945. He has always expressed his gratitude that he was on his way and not yet landed on that date.
Thank you, Bill for your services – we appreciate you!
