VNA & Blue Water Hospice leadership honors staff & volunteers quarterly through the ‘Shining Star’ program, recognizing the extras they do for each other, their patients, and the community.

Jeanette is a registered nurse in the Private Duty Home Care division. She has been with VNA & Blue Water Hospice for 17 years. When asked about working at VNABWH, she said “I continue to work here because the wonderful people I work with and for; along with the excellent care our team provides.”

“Jeanette started with Private Duty as a contingent RN. Since her date of hire, she has assumed many more responsibilities in preparation for the recent CHAP audit, coordinating supervisory visits bi-monthly, learning back-office tasks, and more. She demonstrates a positive attitude with all her co-workers and clients. She is thorough with charting and has been steadfastly ensuring all information is documented in charts. Jeanette has gone above and beyond over the past six months. She truly is an asset to Private Duty!”
