VNA & Blue Water Hospice leadership honors staff & volunteers quarterly through the ‘Shining Star’ program, recognizing the extras they do for each other, their patients, and the community.

Rebecca is a CENA at the Blue Water Hospice Home. She has been at the agency since September 2019.

Chasity recognized Rebecca as a Shining Star! 

“Rebecca has many talents. In addition to being a CENA, she is also a licensed beautician. She offered to utilize her skills by helping two patients feel and look their best. She always goes above and beyond in the Hospice Home but was gracious in offering to go to the community hospice patient’s homes when they requested haircuts. While this was a bit outside her comfort zone, as she always does, she stepped up to meet the needs of our patients. Thank you, Rebecca!”
